South-East governors and leaders are currently in an emergency meeting at the Government House, Enugu, to discuss the worsening insecurity in the region. Naija News reports that the meeting is being presided by the Chairman of the South-East Governors Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi.
The leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, religious leaders, political leaders and traditional rulers are also present at the meeting.
Governors physically present at the meeting include Dave Umahi of Ebonyi, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Willie Obiano of Anambra, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, and Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.
