Duo deal to open 20 upscale multiplexes U.K. exhibition loop Curzon Cinemas has inked a pact with entertainment retailer HMV to open up to 20 upscale multiplexes in urban center locations.
Security agents have in a joint operation arrested over five hundred armed thugs in Ekiti State. The thugs according to reports were coming from Ibadan, the Oyo State capital to Ekiti, to disrupt the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, primary elections in the state. They were however, nabbed by a combined team of security agents in the state, Naija News reports. It was reported that the thugs were cornered along Ita Awure/Efon Junction in Ekiti by joint security forces consisting of soldiers and policemen.
