Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has noted that President Muhammadu Buhari-led government lied over the repatriation of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu back to Nigeria. Falana further stated that the IPOB leader may have been drugged after he was rearrested before he was smuggled back to Nigeria. Recall that the minister of justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, had disclosed the arrest of Kanu.

The director of Peter Obi’s presidential campaign, Doyin Okupe has reacted after emerging as the temporary running mate of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party. Naija News had earlier reported the Labour Party on Friday announced Okupe as a placeholder to beat the submission deadline of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
